THE GOLF COURSE AT MONT D'ARBOIS
A COURSE WITH A SPECTACULAR VIEW
The 18-hole golf course of the Domaine du Mont d’Arbois will be open from May 11 to November 3 2024.
Located overlooking the village of Megève, at an average altitude of 1,320 meters, the 18-hole golf course of the Domaine du Mont d’Arbois is currently the oldest mountain course. Founded by Noémie de Rothschild in the 1920s with the aim of making the Domaine du Mont d’Arbois a family holiday destination, it was later redesigned by Henry Cotton, a professional golfer. Landscaped in the style of a French garden, the golf course offers an outstanding view from Mont Joly to the Aravis range. The gentle slope ofthis par 72’s even gradient allows the player to enjoy an energetic swing while being surrounded by a unique panorama.
For the past six years, the Mont d’Arbois golf course has taken an environmentally friendly approach by using non-polluting methods to promote plant and animal biodiversity and the biological activity of the soil. No fungicide or herbicide products are used on the greens.
The Mont d’Arbois golf course blends into the mountain landscape thanks to its protected fauna and flora and its environmentally friendly management.
The Pro Shop, open every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., offers a full range of equipment and apparel for beginner and professional golfers: clubs, gloves, shoes, clothing, and more from a wide range of brands including TaylorMade, Titleist, Ecco and FootJoy, among others.
For convenient access, an underground car park is located just below the club and can be reached directly by elevator from the Mont d’Arbois gondola.
